Confirmation

When youth join the church, and during that the process of joining, they are making a commitment to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ within the body of Christ here at First Presbyterian Church. Youth who feel called to prepare for their confirmation take a year-long journey with our pastor, a mentor and fellow confirmands. They participate in class activities and individual meetings and activities with mentors to discern Christ’s desire for them.

Recognizing that we grow in our faith as we serve in the name of Jesus Christ,
First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg provides opportunities annually for our youth and adults to put shoe leather on the path or hands to work at work camps in the United States and mission trips abroad. In the past, we have served at a variety of Group work camps in South Dakota, New Hampshire and Georgia.
